Why Pickering Chooses Commercial Security from 1Northwest Security
Most Pickering agencies price commercial security on headcount. We price on capability. It's the reason our proposals show fewer bodies and better outcomes.
Our Tactical Approach to Commercial Security in Pickering
Randomized commercial security timing in Pickering prevents the pattern-recognition problem that defeats predictable security schedules. Our officers never work the same route two shifts in a row.
Commercial Security Pricing Considerations for Pickering
Every Pickering proposal includes an insurance certificate, WSIB clearance letter, and a redacted sample occurrence report. Ask for it before you sign — we will send it inside an hour.
Licensing & Compliance in Ontario
Every Pickering officer's provincial licence status is monitored through the official Ontario verification tool. Any expiring credential triggers an automatic rotation before the next shift.

How We Deploy in Pickering
Discovery Walkthrough
A regional supervisor visits your site, interviews stakeholders, and documents current pain points, existing systems, and shift patterns.
SOP Design
We draft a site-specific Standard Operating Procedure — post orders, escalation ladder, uniform posture, reporting cadence — and review it with your team before deployment.
Officer Selection
Officers are hand-picked from our regional roster based on skill fit, language requirements, and prior experience with your industry. No random assignments.
Deployment & Audit
Coverage begins on the agreed date, with the first two weeks audited by the regional supervisor. We course-correct in real time — not at a quarterly review.

Commercial Security in Pickering — Common Questions.
Is Commercial Security Licensed Across Canada?
Yes. Every commercial security deployment is fulfilled by officers who hold a valid provincial licence in the province of work — Ontario PSISA, BC BST, Quebec BSP, Alberta Security Services Licence, and equivalent territorial licences across NWT, YT, and NU.
How Quickly Can You Start a Commercial Security Contract?
For most commercial security engagements we can be on-site within 48–72 hours of a signed proposal. Emergency deployments (e.g. sprinkler-outage fire watch, sudden alarm-response coverage) are often possible the same day.
Do You Scale Commercial Security to Multi-Site Portfolios?
Yes. National portfolios receive a dedicated account manager, single-invoice billing, and consolidated reporting across every site — from a single storefront to a coast-to-coast footprint.
Is 1Northwest Security Licensed to Operate in Pickering?
Yes. 1Northwest Security holds a current provincial security services licence in Ontario and every officer deployed in Pickering carries a personal licence, verified in-house on hire and annually thereafter.
What's the Fastest You Can Start a Contract in Pickering?
For standard commercial or residential work in Pickering, we can typically place officers on-site within 48–72 hours of a signed proposal. Emergency deployments (fire watch, sudden vacancy of an existing agency) can be same-day, subject to shift availability.
Do You Provide Bilingual Officers in Pickering?
Bilingual (EN/FR) staffing is available in every market. Additional languages are recruited to demand — Mandarin, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog and others are represented in our Pickering officer roster where client sites need them.
